Admissions
Prospective Parents
Prospective parents are invited to visit our school. Our Year 6 pupils will show you around and answer any questions you have.
We look forward to welcoming you to our school.
Reception Class
To make an application for a place in our Reception Class an application must be made through the Local Authority on a Common Application Form (CAF).
This form is available online and the Local Authority requests that all applications are made this way.
As well as an online application it is important that the school also receives a completed supplementary form for your child. The supplementary form is completed by your Priest and shows evidence of your attendance at Mass. The form can be downloaded from this website or a paper copy can be obtained from the school office. You will use the same supplementary form for applications to any Catholic Primary School in Lewisham (not academies). Together with the supplementary form you will need to take the original copy of your child’s baptismal certificate to each catholic primary school you are applying to. The school will make a copy of the original and hand it back to you.
Please ensure that you apply in good time and that your application is submitted to both the Local Authority (the CAF form) and the school (the supplementary form) before the closing date.
Years 1-6
For applications to Years 1-6, a Local Authority in year application form will need to completed and returned to the Authority. You must also bring a completed supplementary form to the school office, details as above.
Nursery
For Nursery only, a Nursery application form and supplementary form must be completed and returned to the School together with the original copies your child’s birth and baptismal certificates as well as proof of address. These forms can be downloaded from this website or collected from the school office. Please note that a place in our Nursery does not mean there is automatic entry into the Reception class in our school. A new application will need to be made.

Unsuccessful applicants and right of appeal

Where the Board of Governors’ decision in relation to an application for admission is not accepted, an appeal can be made by the Parent/Carer of the applicant via the School to an independent body. Appropriate forms are obtainable from the Headteacher and completed appeal forms must be returned to the School within 20 school days of the date of the letter giving notification of the admission decision for forwarding to the clerk of the Appeal Committee.
